REMOVAL
- Disconnect the battery ground cable.
- Perform the Refrigerant Discharging and Recovery Procedure.
- Disconnect the A/C vacuum line.
CAUTION: Plug all ports to prevent contamination from dirt and moisture.
- Disconnect the rear condenser to evaporator line spring lock coupling.
CAUTION: Plug all ports to prevent contamination from dirt or moisture.
- Remove the suction line support clip retaining nuts.
- Disconnect the suction line spring lock coupling.
CAUTION: Plug all ports to prevent contamination from dirt or moisture.

- Remove the RH windshield defroster nozzle connector.
- Remove the pushpin.
- Remove the screw and the RH anti-theft alarm control mounting bracket.
- Loosen the A/C evaporator outlet duct clamp bolt.
- Disconnect the A/C blower motor electrical connector.
- Disconnect the vacuum control motor vacuum connector.
- Detach the vacuum lines from the A/C evaporator housing retainer.
- Remove the nuts and the A/C evaporator housing.
- Disconnect the vacuum line.
- Remove the screws and the A/C vacuum reservoir tank and bracket.
INSTALLATION
- Install the A/C vacuum reservoir tank and bracket.
- Install the A/C evaporator housing.
- Tighten the A/C evaporator outlet duct clamp bolt.
- Attach the vacuum lines to the A/C evaporator housing retainer.
- Connect the vacuum control motor vacuum connector.
- Install the RH windshield defroster nozzle connector.

- Connect the rear condenser to evaporator line and the suction line spring lock couplings.
- Connect the A/C vacuum line.
- Connect the battery ground cable.
- Perform the Refrigerant Evacuation and Charging procedures.
